Note
|
Ellen married Flavel Bascom in 1833 in Norwich, CT. Flavel was a clergyman and the couple moved to Galesburg, IL shortly after being married. Although names are misspelled, the 1850 US Census indicates that Ellen is still alive in 1850. The listed birthdate of 1837 does have a source and is therefore suspect. |
