Obituary - Sandusky Register, Dec 1925 Sandusky Register December 1925 Joseph C. Moross, 71, a resident of Kelly's Island for the past 44 years, died at the residence of his daughter, Mrs. John W. Wolf, 407 W. Madison St. at 8 o'clock Saturday evening after an illness of nine weeks. He is survived by his widow; two sons, Wm. I. Moross of this city and Gabriel M. Moross of Youngstown; three daughters, Mrs. John W. Wolf, Mrs. Joseph Bingham and Mrs. John Rook all of this city; 14 grandchildren; five great-grandchilddren; three brothers, Gordon, Alec, and Christ, all of Pukwana, S. D.; two sisters Mrs. Albert Baatz of Pukwana, S. D., and Mrs. Frank Row of Erie Mich., and many other relatives and friends. He was a faithful member of St. Mary's church. He was employed by Lay Bros. for 12 years. The funeral will be held at 8:30 o;clock Tuesday morning from the residence of his daughter, Mrs. John W. Wolf, with services at St. Mary;s church at 9 o'clock; the Rev. W. C. Zierolf officiating. Interment will be made in St. Mary's cemetery. |
