Note	Obituary Gerry Bickley Nov. 17, 1929-Jan. 12, 2009: Newspaper Obituary and Death Notice Sandusky Register (OH) - January 15, 2009 Deceased Name: Gerry Bickley Nov. 17, 1929-Jan. 12, 2009 KELLEYS ISLAND Gerry Bickley, 79, of Kelleys Island, passed away suddenly Monday, Jan. 12, 2009, in Magruder Hospital in Port Clinton. She was born Nov. 17, 1929, on Kelleys Island, daughter of the late Rosella (Elfers) and Henry Beatty. She was a 1947 graduate of Kelleys Island High School. Gerry was a member ofSt. Michaels Catholic Church.She was very active in the Kelleys Island Historical Society. She enjoyed gardening, and her grandchildren were her life. She is survived by her husband of 58 years, Lyle Bickley, whom she married Aug. 26, 1950; three sons, Steve (Kerrie) Bickley of NorthCarolina, Todd (Bobbi) Bickley of Port Clinton and Phil (Susan) Bickley of Avon, Ohio; nine grandchildren, Jennifer (Matt) Kluemper, Jeff, Adam, Sarah, Elizabeth,Maureen, Samuel, Monica and Claire Bickley; and one sister, Ila Dick of Kelleys Island. She was preceded in death by her parents, and two brothers, Wayne and Ronald Beatty. Friends may call 2-4 and 6-8 p.m. Thursday in Groff Funeral Home, 1607 E. Perkins Ave., Sandusky. The Rev. Nick Cunningham will conduct parish wake services at 7:30 p.m. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated in the spring at St. Michaels Catholic Church, Kelleys Island. Burial will be inKelleys Island Cemetery. Memorial contributions may be made to Kelleys Island Historical Society, P.O. Box 328, Kelleys Island, OH 43438.
